Can someone let Stirrup know his precincts changed back in 2005?
| It appears either Gainesville Supervisor Stirrup does not know his own precincts or his camera wielding, website administering assistant does not. Check his homepage at http://www.gainesvillesupervisor.com/, and this is what you’ll find - |
Welcome to the Gainesville District!
The Gainesville Magisterial District is one of seven districts that comprise the political subdivision of Prince William County. The Gainesville District is located in the northwestern end of the county and is made up of nine precincts:
Bull Run, Catharpin, Evergreen, Haymarket, Mullen, Plantation, Sinclair, Stonewall and Westgate.
Okay, hold-up a second here. What happened to the Glenkirk precinct? And what is Plantation?
After some investigating, I discovered that at the end of 2005 the Plantation precinct was split and combined between the Westgate and Stonewall precincts and at the same time Glenkirk was added. So Stirrup’s website has incorrectly identified the precincts in his own district for about two years and he nor any of his constituents have picked up on it. Shameful. Let’s see how long it takes them to figure this out. And if I were one of his Glenkirk constituents, I’d be concerned that he does not even know you exist.
