I visited the website for this company and noticed he’s not listed as a Vice President. The staff directory lists him as Director of Governmental Affairs. What does that association do? Their tagline seems cryptic. It states, “The association of third party logistics companies, including brokers, forwarders, intermodal marketing companies, NVOCC’s, air freight forwarders and freight audit and payment companies.”

Yes.. Stirrup’s work history is odd. It’s likely his buddy Corey Stewart got him his last job at Foley and Lardner as the tag team worked there for some time and he (Stirrup) is not an attorney. I hardly think its coincidence that these two back scratchers just happened to work together. Stirrup’s title there was director of Government Affairs.
Someone likely got him this gig as well. The organization appears to be primarily a lobbying effort to protect the insiders and maximize profits for participating carriers, and brokers. They pay him and he votes on queue like the savvy ethical politician he is.
